Ridgefield Heritage Society Mission Statement

The mission of Ridgefield Heritage Society is to preserve, promote, and protect Ridgefield’s dynamic history; by being an education resource to the community. To share a deeper understanding of the events that shaped Ridgefield, as they are the foundation of our future. Events connect us with our past, our place, and each other.

The Ridgefield Heritage Society vision is to:

• Update and maintain historical walking maps and tours

• Collect, record, and preserve materials relating to Ridgefield’s history

• Evoke community engagement through events, social media, and local organization and city collaborations

• Provide educational resources to the community through displays, programs, and historical presentations
